The 1st Mindanao Bloggers Summit with a theme Blogging for Culture, Identity and Understanding was held today at the 4th Floor of NCCC Mall, Maa, Davao City. I am happy that my hubby and I were able to attend it and at the same time I am also happy because I met for first time in person, Cherry Rose more known as Chikai, who introduced me to paid blogging. She went there with Odi who is the wife of her cousin Reginald (if I am not mistaken). I was quite surprised that Chikai lives nearby our place for I was thinking until this morning that she lives and is based in General Santos City.
I am sharing below the photo my hubby Charles took of me, Chikai and Odi before the summit started this morning. I actually went in and out of the summit coz our company had a exhibit booth in the ongoing Davao Trade Expo (DATE 2007) which is also being held at the 4th Floor of NCCC Mall. We had a speaking slot this morning which I had to attend to.
My hubby and I also went to the Bloggers fellowship night at Casa Habana, Rizal Street, Davao City after the summit. Both activities were fun to be part of! I look forward to the next Summit next year.
